The staff of the Tidewater Sharks is committed to its players and has developed a College Assistance program"CAP" to provide guidance and contacts for players that are on path to play

​college ​soccer.  Most clubs advertise assistance for their players but don't

deliver as they are too busy with other initiatives.  The Sharks ​staff will

put together a profile, a progressive program and pathway for players

but will look to the player to be proactive and put in the work required to

reach their goals. 

​

The key for college bound players is to start early by setting realistic goals and preparing their bodies and mind for the jourey to become a college player.   The program introduces and educates young players on the NCAA and its rules, time management, nutrition, appropriate fitness, academic achievement with a constant focus on sharpening technical skills and broadening tacical understanding of high level soccer.
